Sorry for taking so long to get this out, I started this novel with the intention of not taking forever with it, and yet here I am. Forgive me!
The reason this one took so long is it I got held up about midway through. I knew everything else I wanted to do with the novel, the events and how I want things to play out, but I didn't have a clear enough idea of how to bridge the gap from this chapter to all of that.
The stock image used for the preview was provided by *liam-stock, and is called "Lady With Gun 4." It was reworked into the version you see now by =Raichana
But finally I solved that dilemma, and the result is presented to you. Now that I'm over this hump, hopefully the chapters will start flowing again. Maybe not as much as they did at first, but I'll try my best to avoid putting a gap like this between them again.
